Nutrition literally means, “the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.” Growing Well Nutrition was named with the idea of, well, growth in mind.
As dietitians, it is our job to ensure that our clients are not only getting adequate nutrition to help them grow physically throughout their lifespan, but to also support our clients in their journey of growing out of toxic mindsets and relationships with food and nutrition.

Growth occurs over time, with consistency. No one changes overnight nor can you see the physical growth in your child day-to-day. Its not until you take a step back years later and see how far you have come, physically and/or mentally. Trees are similar. Over many years, with consistency, they will eventually grow into something substantial, strong, and beautiful. Growth requires consistency.

With all of the elements that trees have to withstand, they remain rooted in the ground, sometimes even with the help of other trees. Recovery is not like a clear, sunny day. It has rainy days and very hot days but, what matters is that you remain rooted in your path, lean on those that care and support you, and stand up when you get knocked down, because it will happen.

Trees are a beautiful piece of nature and show what it looks like to grow with consistency, stand tall through the storms and rely on other trees to thrive. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but we are here to help you grow well.
